Topic: Your Development as an OD Practitioner — How Do You Manage It?

Program:  

Whether recently out of an OD program or a seasoned practitioner, each of us needs to continue our own development. This session explores options to assess our needs and interests and guide our careers. Participants will be guided through a reflection and assessment process that they can use immediately and regularly. Outcomes:

  • Clarity about own interests, strengths, and wants.
  • Identify options for pursuing own development.
  • Familiarity with a reflection and assessment process.
Bio:

With 30 years in organization effectiveness, Heather Berthoud is a thoughtful and trusted partner to organizational and community leaders. Whether working on individual coaching, team dynamics, leadership development, organizational change, or diversity and inclusion, she combines a passion for social justice with a practical results-orientation. She builds the ability of leaders and organizations to accomplish their goals, learn, and enjoy. Clients and colleagues describe her as insightful, fun, straightforward, challenging, and supportive. Heather works primarily with social justice organizations and is also faculty for the American University Masters in Organization Development program, an NTL Institute member, a Fellow at the Worker Institute at Cornell University, and a Professional Associate at the Gestalt International Study Center. She has authored several publications on diversity, planning, training and consulting.
