"Immunity to Change"

Facilitator: Plum Cluverius, PCC

Plum is a professional certified coach, a credential given by the International Coach Federation (ICF). Her goal as a coach is simple—to help each client clear out any impediment to living a full, satisfying and productive life, especially at work.  With over 30 years experience in leadership and personal development, Plum brings a wide range of theory and practice to her coaching.  She recently completed a two year term as ICF Greater Richmond president.  She is on the adjunct faculty of the Federal Executive Institute and the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond and is an executive coach with the University of Virginia’s Center for Executive Development.  When she’s not working, Plum loves playing bluegrass guitar and doing anything that takes her outside.

Description:

Have you ever worked with an organization, individual or team who knew what they had to do to be successful but when push came to shove continued behaving in the same dysfunctional way?  Using Robert Kegan and Lisa Lahey years of research as described in their book Immunity to Change, this workshop will show you how they have helped thousands of individuals and teams uncover the hidden dynamic that keeps them stuck.  You will have the opportunity to experience the power of this process yourself and will walk away with a greater understanding of how to affect change in yourself and in others.  Come see why Immunity to Change was named "One of the Best Business Books" of 2011 by the Conference Board Review.

Plum Cluverius, a certified professional coach, has just returned from a three day Immunity to Change workshop with Kegan and Lahey and has been using this process extensively with her coaching clients.  She will discuss both individual and organizational immunity.
