Renée Zabela is an engineer and organization development (OD) practitioner with a passion for helping people learn to engage self and others effectively. During the past two decades, Renée has worked on U.S. defense programs as a systems engineer and technical consultant. Her tenure has included several leadership positions including line supervisor, chief engineer, and project manager.
Renée began practicing OD in 2016 when she entered Cohort 73 of the American University MSOD program. OD balances two of her loves—helping others, and working with data. Her OD interests are broad at this time, although employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, culture work, and strategy are particular interests. Buoyed by an intense sense of belonging in the OD community, Renée joined CBODN to pay forward the warmth and support she has received.
