Professional Program EventsFeature nationally and locally recognized leaders in the OD field. Speakers have included Edie Seashore, Bob Marshak, Geoff Bellman, and Rick Maurer, among many others. Event topics span interests of new, mid-experience and senior level practitioners; and are organized in a variety of formats, including presentations and workshops. |
Annual ConferenceThe full day program of keynote presentations and concurrent sessions includes emerging trends, nationally recognized OD speakers, as well as peer-reviewed presentations and networking time. Members attend at a discounted rate. |

Special Interest Group SessionsCBODN encourages the growth of special interest learning groups about organization development practice and theory. At least seven groups (SIGs) meet each month or quarterly throughout the Washington, Baltimore and Northern Virginia areas, to provide ongoing dialogue, peer relationships, and state of the art learning. Groups meet at breakfast, lunch and evenings, and in person or on-line to provide members with flexible, in-depth learning options. SIGs are currently supported by CBODN at no cost. |
Consultants DirectoryMany members and potential members function as external consultants. The Directory of Consultants offers members additional exposure and marketing options via the internet—at a price hard to beat! We also provide our internal members and business partners with a targeted pool of potential consultants. |

Career ResourcesIn addition to job postings and our consultant directory, CBODN works to provide members with access to career resources, such as peer mentoring and coaching or workshops and programs aimed at developing your OD career or business. |

Online Member DirectoryEach member can access the most current information to connect with other members via our searchable database. Members are encouraged to update their on-line profile as needed. |

Volunteer OpportunitiesBoth short and longer term, members may offer their talents develop OD leadership skills, and polish their competencies, while being of service that is greatly appreciated. Consider contributing by serving on the annual conference committee, coordinating SIG activities or career resource services, developing programs, expanding marketing/public relation activities, or contributing an article for our website or newsletter. PartnershipsThe Chesapeake Bay area abounds with many professional associations that have similar and complementary interests to the practice of Organization Development. CBODN actively reaches out to these groups to foster jointly sponsored programs and other activities, in part to "walk our talk" of valuing collaboration and sharing. |

National OD NetworkMembers of CBODN are entitled to a reduced rate membership fee, and are encouraged to participate in a variety of ways at the national OD conference. |
