Topic: Setting and Maintaining Boundaries with Others

Facilitator: Mark Sachs
As OD professionals and coaches, we often work with clients who have difficulty setting boundaries and limits with subordinates, coworkers, and bosses. When this happens, it can have serious consequences. The good news is that when effective boundaries are set, they can increase productivity, teamwork, morale, and the bottom line. So, what needs to be done to set successful boundaries at work?  This session will give you the tools to help your clients do that. In addition, what you learn can be useful to you in your work and personal lives. You will also be given a boundaries handbook that can help you and your clients better navigate the boundaries odyssey.

Mark has been an external OD consultant and executive coach for more than 15 years.  He has a deep commitment to bringing out the best in people and helping to improve the leadership and overall management of his client organizations.
In his consulting and coaching practices, Mark’s clients have included NASA, NIH, FDA, FDIC, USAID, The Washington Post, VeriSign, Federal Realty Investment Trust, National Governors Association, National Association of Federal Credit Unions, Holy Cross Hospital, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
He earned his M.S. degree in Organization Development from the American University/NTL Institute, and M.A. and B.A. degrees in Sociology from Rutgers University.  Mark is a graduate of Coach University and he is certified by the International Coach Federation as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC).
