Event Title: The Coaching Companion: Get the Most from Your Coaching Experience by Daniel Sheres and Carylynn Larson
The Coaching Companion provides practical guidance for getting the most out of your coaching investment. If you are new to coaching, this volume will get you started with tried-and-true principles that support successful outcomes and lasting value. If you have experience working with a coach, the tips provided will serve as useful reminders that the value you receive depends largely on how you approach the process. Although it was initially written with the client in mind, we found very quickly that the advice was equally applicable to coaches in their own development. And since the release of this book, we have been encouraged to see the value of the advice as extending even beyond the field of coaching - it is equally useful for anyone who seeks to learn, grow, and advance their lives.
This presentation will offer participants the chance to leverage the wisdom offered in this book to advance personal and professional growth initiatives in their own lives. Participants will have the opportunity to work with the authors and each other in a group setting, identifying opportunities to facilitate their own growth processes, and clarifying the relationship between our internal approach to growth and the external factors that can either help or hinder our efforts. The authors will be available for autographs and copies of the book will be available for purchase.
