Topic: What It’s Like To Do International OD Work
Description: Organization development work in countries outside of the United States appears to be increasing. It often requires openness to different cultures and regions and people’s perspectives on the world of work and life. It also includes data gathering, designing an OD intervention(s), facilitating the sessions, and managing the client, organizational, and cultural challenges. In this session the very experienced presenters will explore how to successfully combine organizational development and international work, which is often not an easy task. It will also be an opportunity for you to share any experiences you may have had in doing this work and to learn from others if you haven’t done so.
Presenters: Stephan Dix and Pam Ex
Stephan brings more than 25 years of work in OD and management for private and public sector organizations including USAID Global Health, the United Nations, and the World Bank.
