Topic: Working with Difficult Client Situations

Description:  When we started to work with OD clients, whether as an internal or external consultant, we may have thought we would help them and they would ride off into the sunset singing halleluiah.  Believe it or not, that’s not always the case.

So, how may we deal with difficult situations we never anticipated or experienced?  Often, we need some help thinking through how to most effectively manage those clients and ourselves. This session will be an opportunity for you to talk with colleagues in small groups about difficult client situations you have/had and get thoughts from them.  It will be a great learning opportunity for you and to celebrate any success you’ve had.

Presenter:  Mark Sachs

Mark has been the facilitator for this Community of Practice for 7+ years.  He is an organization consultant and executive coach who believes that organizations and their people have a lot more potential than they give themselves credit for.  He has a deep commitment to bringing out the best in people and improving the management of organizations.  He has a Master’s Degree in Organization Development from American  University and he is an International Coach Federation, Professional Certified Coach (PCC).

CoP Leader:  Mark Sachs, ma.sachs@verizon.net
