Topic: Open discussion to shape our future

Description: Are you interested in shaping the future of the Government SIG?  Are there topics you want to hear about, speakers you want to hear from, or other suggestions you have on how we can make the Government SIG bigger and better than ever?  Kate Trygstad from Creative Facilitating will lead a discussion to establish the future of the Government SIG.  Our SIG will only be as strong as its members are active.  Your feedback at this meeting is crucial to ensuring we are able to feature speakers on topics you are interested in and that you are getting the maximum return on investment for your membership in the Government SIG.  Please do not miss out on this opportunity to help shape the Government SIG.

Presenter: Kate Trygstad is the founder and owner of Creative Facilitating, a former Senior Manager in the Federal Government with a reputation for leading effective groups into greater effectiveness, and a former leader and trainer in the private sector.  She has a Master of Science in Organization Development and Knowledge Management degree from George Mason University and is a graduate of the Newfield Network coaching program.

SIG Description: The Government SIG hosts monthly conference calls to discuss topics or techniques relevant to the practice of OD in federal or local government.

Vision: We hold ourselves accountable as life-long learners in the field to contribute to the future growth and knowledge of government and public sector OD practices.
Mission:   To share best OD practices, trends and policies in the government and publicsectors through monthly SIG meetings for both internal and external consultants.

Meeting Frequency & Format:  Fourth Wednesday of each month- conference call format
