Organizational Constellation CoP

Topic: Mastering Performance Anxiety

Description: We had an insightful look at procrastination and resistance at our February meeting.  Using the dimensions of urgent/not urgent and important/not important we asked ourselves, "What is getting in the way of getting things done individually in each quadrant?"

Some tasks on our “to-do” list can come to represent old, unfriendly beliefs or experiences related to our sense of self.  So naturally we don't want to engage with those tasks. Until we break that association and the negative charge it activates, we will naturally put off doing them.

This March we will look at the related topic of mastering performance anxiety. In some situations, we find it easy to bring our best self or our "A" game and shine like a star. Other times we notice how our own anxiety about doing well and can trip us up. What can we do to enhance our performance and get out of our own way, especially when the stakes are high? Are there inner resources we can draw upon that will help us access our best self when we most need it? What do we consciously need to let go of or find a way to align with?

Come join us for a dynamic and transformative afternoon on Friday, March 29, 2019 to seek answers to the above questions. Often, we uncover insights that are relevant and actionable for all the attendees.

This event is free and open to all - feel free to invite a friend or colleague. Parking is on the side streets or the library is a couple blocks south of the Cleveland Park metro station.

See you there.
