Topic: How to Conquer Technology Distraction and Burnout: Be More Present for Yourself and The Organizations You Serve

Description: As an OD practitioner, you’re called on to do many things from consulting, facilitating, and training to mentoring and coaching. And while you’re very good at what you do, the daily barrage of emails, texts, tweets, and meetings distract you and stress you out. You know there must be a better way to manage these tech tools that seem to be getting in your way more often than they help you and your clients focus on mission-critical activities. If this sounds familiar to you, join this fun, interactive session on how to mindfully use technology to be more present for yourself and the organizations you serve.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn what technology distraction is and a framework for addressing it
  • Identify personal and organizational challenges with technology distraction and solutions for addressing them
  • Understand the essential ingredients for addressing the top workplace distractions (e.g. email, social media, and smart devices)
  • Learn how to create a mindful technology plan for yourself and your team
