Topic - The Female Vision: Women’s Real Power at Work

Many organizations still reflect an all-male industrial leadership culture that drives highly qualified women out of organizations. Women find their vision is often undervalued or dismissed because their approach creates a holistic picture as opposed to a narrower view that relies heavily on numbers to make decisions. Join us on September 1st to learn what women value and how it can be recognized and used effectively by both women and men. We will identify the steps that women need to take to increase their perceived value and how men can support women in their organizations by affirming the value of their approach.

Kari Uman, President, Uman Resource Associates, has more than twenty-five years’ experience as a coach, consultant, and trainer. Kari’s approach and methodology has helped executives and managers enhance leadership skills, improve relationships, develop better self-management capabilities, and manage conflict more masterfully. Her particular experience and interest in gender issues, and their impact on relationships and performance, enables her to help women executives change behaviors that are undermining their best efforts. Kari helps them become aware of self-limiting behaviors and attitudes and explore the myths and beliefs that are undermining their effectiveness and success.
