Topic: Introduction to Action Learning

Facilitator: Dr. Bea Carson (click here for bio)

Program Description:  Dr. Bea Carson, president of the World Institute for Action Learning-USA (WIAL-USA), presents an Introduction to Action Learning.  The basics of Action Learning will be presented, along with practical hands on experience. All of WIAL’s programs are ICF accredited. A complete listing can be found at www.wial-usa.org. Action Learning has become a key training and problem-solving tool for companies as diverse as: Microsoft, PriceWaterhouse Coopers, NASA, Marriott, Booz Allen Hamilton, Novartis, Deutsche Bank, Boeing, Caterpillar, AT&T and more. These and thousands of other companies around the world now employ Action Learning for: strategic planning, developing leaders, identifying competitive advantages, reducing operating costs and for creating high performing organizations. More than a problem solving tool, Action Learning is a process that naturally creates learning organizations. At the heart of the successful Action Learning experience is the Action Learning Coach who models the questioning, reflection, and coaching skills that increasingly will characterize successful leaders in the 21st century.
